  • Toolaloo Fun Facts

    • If I’ve misplaced my drink holder, headrest hook, or sleeve can I order a replacement piece?

      • You sure can! Just email us at info@toolaloo.com and we will help you order a replacement for any missing or damaged pieces.

    • How much weight can Toolaloo hold?

      • Toolaloo will safely hold up to 75 lbs. But we do want to remind you to always make sure that your Toolaloo is in the closed and locked position before picking up or hanging full bags. We would hate to see the hook snap from the handle.

    • What material is Toolaloo made from?

      • Toolaloo is made from Post-Industrial PC/ABS and the sleeve is made from TPE

        PC/ABS = Polycarbonate / Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene

        TPE = Thermoplastic Elastomer

    • What is Post-Industrial Material?

      • In the simplest terms, post-industrial material is the scrap that would end up in the trash when plastic products are being manufactured. So post-industrial instead of post-consumer.  We purchase those scraps and re-purpose them into Toolaloos.

    • When I’m ready to retire my Toolaloo, can it be recycled?

      • Since Toolaloo is considered a Recyle #7 we ask that you do not drop it in your recycle bin, because it will probably end up in the trash. Please email us at info@toolaloo.com and we will email you a pre-paid shipping label. Then mail your Toolaloo back to us, and we will use it to make new Toolaloos!

    • Is Toolaloo made in the USA?

      • We're so proud to say, "It sure is!" We are located in Aurora, Colorado and our wonderful manufacturing partner is located in Elroy, Wisconsin.

    • Is Toolaloo Patented and Trademarked?

      • Yes, Toolaloo is a Registered Trademark and we are currently Patent Pending.

    • Is your packaging made from recycled material and can it be recycled?

      • Yes, our packaging is made from recycled material, the packaging can be recycled, and it is also made in the USA.

    • Does Toolaloo fit on all grocery carts?

      • Toolaloo was thoughtfully designed to fit most grocery carts, but we are sad to say that it is not 100% universal. In all of our testing (hundreds of grocery carts), we came across only three with which Toolaloo did not work.

    • Do I need to purchase special or specific bags to work with my Toolaloo?

      • Nope! Toolaloo was purposefully designed to work with ALL reusable shopping bags. There are many reusable bag “systems” on the market which include bags for purchase to ensure that everything fits together like perfect little puzzle pieces. But who wants to spend precious time folding reusable bags, and let’s face it, we all already have a ton of bags lying around. So the last thing we want you to have to do is purchase more. Instead, we want to encourage you to use the reusable shopping bags you already own!

    • Can I put my Toolaloo in the dishwasher?

      • Yes, you can, but please put it on the top shelf of your dishwasher. Or even better, wipe it down with soapy water.
